A Tax Specialist is responsible for documenting all stages of the accounting cycle in order to prepare Federal, State and local tax returns. Will review data prior to preparing the returns, prepare and file returns and will also provide background documentation in case of an audit.

The OpportunityAs an associate, you will partner with our transactional tax lawyers to help clients navigate the complex and rapidly evolving tax landscape of renewable energy transactions. Your work will be varied, sophisticated, and high-impact, including:
Advising clients on tax credit qualification, including beginning-of-construction, prevailing wage, and apprenticeship requirements under Internal Revenue Code Sections 45 and 48Supporting M&A transactions, tax equity financings, tax credit transfers, and other joint venturesContributing to a practice that offers genuine depth of experience and meaningful client responsibility from day one
