Intuit is hiring an Experienced Tax Expert for in-store support, helping consumers and small businesses prepare and file accurate tax returns. In this seasonal, customer-facing role, you'll use Intuit's leading financial tools to analyze documents, identify deductions and credits, and ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws. You'll explain complex tax concepts in clear terms, guide customers through their options, and provide an excellent in-person experience. Responsibilities Provide in-store tax preparation and filing support for individual and small business customers using Intuit products Review financial records, identify deductions and credits, and ensure accurate tax return completion in compliance with IRS and state regulations Educate customers on tax implications, financial options, and Intuit tools to help them maximize refunds and minimize liabilities Collaborate with Intuit teams to troubleshoot complex tax scenarios and escalate issues when needed Maintain detailed, secure, and compliant customer documentation and follow data-privacy standards Stay current on federal and state tax law changes and apply them in real time during peak tax season Deliver high-quality customer service, managing multiple appointments and walk-ins efficiently Contribute feedback to improve Intuit tax products, processes, and in-store customer experience Required Skills Individual income tax preparation Small business tax preparation Tax law and regulations (federal and state) Use of tax preparation software (e.g., Turbo Tax or similar) Financial document analysis Customer service and client communication Data privacy and compliance Documentation and recordkeeping Problem solving and issue escalation Bilingual communication skills (where applicable)
