Job Description
Small firms often mean small clients. This firm is different. Despite its local feel, this established firm works with clients across the country and handles a very high volume of work during busy season. The team is small, experienced, and remarkably stable. One staff member has been there thirty years, another twenty, and another ten. In public accounting, that level of retention says a lot. Like any CPA firm; busy season is intense but predictable. February, March and April will be 10-15 hours of overtime per week. However, overtime is paid at time and a half. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, you'll get additional PTO when the work schedule is quieter with a 4-day working week. The firm is growing and is now looking for a senior tax professional. The long term goal is for this person to manage and grow their own client portfolio. Don't miss this one! It's a rare setup. A busy firm with national clients, strong stability, paid overtime, and summers designed for actual time off. How to Apply Here's the thing about job applications. Many people overthink them. It's easy to assume you need to tick every single box before applying, but that's not how we work. If this role catches your interest, just go ahead and apply. Clicking "apply" isn't a lifelong commitment; it's simply the first step in a conversation. Prefer a more personal connection?
