Tax Analyst Location:
Tampa, FL (33618) - Onsite 6-month Contract-to Hire This role will be dedicated tax, and the ideal candidate would have Bachelor's degree in accounting with core expertise related to taxation accounting or real estate accounting, as well as be general knowledge about sales tax. Five year or less experience. This role would be processing based and reviewing invoices for tax liability and researching monthly general ledger spend. Position Summary Description Supports the Treasury & Planning department with the following duties:- Assist with monthly sales and use tax review, annual corporate tax filings and other tax research and support
- Assist with real and tangible tax returns, analyze current and past financial data and performance
- Prepare financial reports and projections; analyze trends in financial performance and provides recommendations for improvement
- Other ad hoc financial modeling and forecasting.
- This role will also assist other Treasury & Planning functions, strategic initiatives as time and workload permit.
