Delivering Value Starts Here Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for helping achieve our company's Tax related goals to maintain efficiency in Sales Tax Audits. The Sales Tax Representative will be responsible for verifying all tax exemptions received based on each state's rules and regulations.- Recognize and display the principles of the Company's Mission, Vision and Values
- Research and validate all incoming tax exemption certificates
- Code customer accounts exempt upon validation of certificates presented
- Process tax credits warranted to customer account or back to credit card
- Assist customers by researching and validating tax rates as requested
- Research sales tax overpayments and expedite refunds when necessary
- Assist customers and sales reps as needed in respect to each state's tax rules
- Support Manager with sales tax projects and audits
- Perform other duties as assigned Competencies and skills
Qualifications:
- At least 1-year experience in an Accounts Receivable environment.
- Excellent PC skills required in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Chrome/Internet Explorer
- 10 key data entry
- Ability to organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and work under time constraints is required.
