Life:
As a Verification Associate, you will verify data between tax software and standard tax documents and ensure quality control standards.
Responsibilities may include:
Verification of data captured by optical character recognition (OCR) software from standard tax documents. Perform quality control on data and communicate issues to team leaders. Organize documents per tax software rules and requirements. Ensure quality control standards. Perform various administrative tasks as needed. This Role may be for you if you are considering a long-term career in public accounting and want exposure to the industry, desire to grow professionally and develop your client service and technical skills or want to demonstrate your performance and ability to potentially join Honkamp as a full-time employee!
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent experience and/or training. Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365. Prolonged periods of working on a computer and ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (e.g. sitting at a desk). Ability to work in a shared office environment with moderate noise levels. Occasional listing of items up to 10-15 pounds (e.g., office supplies, files) with or without reasonable accommodation.
