Job Description

Martin Accounting Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Office Intake Specialist to join our team during the upcoming tax season. This is a seasonal position running approximately January through April and is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable working with computers, and enjoys working in a professional office environment. Schedule & Compensation Seasonal position: January-April 25-40 hours per week (decided along with candidate) $18.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience Primary Responsibilities Receive and organize client tax documents Update client information and records in our computer systems Set up client projects and tax-return workflows Scan, upload, and properly organize client documents Review information for completeness and accuracy Maintain organized electronic client files Assist with other administrative and tax-season intake duties as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is comfortable learning and working in multiple computer programs and has excellent attention to detail . Accuracy is especially important in this position, as you will be handling financial and tax-related documents. Because our clients trust us with highly sensitive personal and financial information, discretion and strict client confidentiality are essential . Qualifications Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work efficiently during a busy tax-season environment Dependable and able to work 25+ hours per week during the season Professional demeanor and commitment to client confidentiality Previous office, administrative, tax, accounting, or document-management experience is helpful but not required This is a great seasonal opportunity for someone who enjoys organized, detail-focused work and would like to be part of a busy professional office during tax season.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
