3008162133-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Constellation Energy seeks a Senior Tax Analyst to lead state and local tax (SALT) planning for our growing utilities and energy portfolio. In this role, you will analyze multi-state tax impacts, model complex transactions, and support strategic initiatives that advance clean energy and sustainability. You'll collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to optimize our tax position, support audits, and monitor legislative changes. Responsibilities Lead SALT (state and local tax) planning and analysis to optimize Constellation Energy's tax position Research multi-state income, franchise, sales, and use tax laws, advising on implications for business operations and transactions Model tax impacts of corporate initiatives, restructurings, and energy projects across multiple jurisdictions Prepare and review complex SALT calculations, workpapers, and documentation to support tax positions Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to integrate SALT planning into strategic decisions Monitor legislative and regulatory SALT changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders Support audits and inquiries from state and local tax authorities, ensuring accurate and timely responses Identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance SALT compliance and planning Required Skills State and local tax (SALT) planning Corporate income and franchise tax Sales and use tax Tax research tools (CCH, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters) Advanced Excel and financial modeling Tax provision and compliance software (e.g., One Source, Corptax) Accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) Data analysis and reconciliation Technical tax writing and documentation Energy/utility industry tax knowledge
