Job Description
Terry M. Garrett CPA, a full service certified public accounting firm with offices in both Lawrence and Lenexa (Kansas), is seeking a Tax Intern to join our growing team in the Lenexa office . The ideal candidate will begin work during the Fall 2026 semester and continue into the Spring 2027 semester with possibility of continuing the position there after. Hours can easily be worked around school schedules. We are seeking students studying Accounting. The opportunity will be part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week. This is a paid position and an excellent addition to any student resume! Duties include but are not limited to preparing individual income tax and corporate tax returns, assisting with preparation of payroll tax reporting and bookkeeping, and supporting general office duties. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and have the ability to work on multiple projects and manage time effectively Please submit your resume and current class schedule when applying.
