Job Summary Maier Adams & Murray Accounting is seeking a dedicated tax person who will focus on our individual tax clients. Our firm specializes in individual and business tax planning and preparation.. Compensation is negotiable depending on your level of experience and if you want to work full or part time. We offer a low key work environment. Start and end times are flexible. You are not required to market the firm's tax services, our growth is driving the need for this position.
Tasks of the position:
Prepare individual tax returns Prepare tax projections Collaborate with our partner firm on income tax preparation and planning Review completed tax forms and provide recommendations to clients when needed Research and resolve tax issues with clients Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service Skills and requirements: 2+ years experience in industry Knowledge of Ultratax preparation software preferred but not required Understanding of IRMAA, social security, and tax implications of retirement accounts Work schedule: Part time or Full time options. Tax season requires 45 hours per week.

Labor Day Compensation:
Salary or hourly compensation plans based on work whether part or full time. Salary range is $69,000•$84,000 based on knowledge and experience. Performance bonuses are available as well.

$69,000.00•$84,000.00 per year
