1 Year+ Position Summary U.S. Bank is seeking Tax Operations Analysts to support the Global Tax Services
  • Relief at Source and Reclaim Operations teams.
The role will support international tax relief processes for ADR and ordinary securities , helping clients obtain appropriate tax treatment under applicable market rules and Double Taxation Treaties. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in Tax Relief at Source and Tax Reclaim , along with knowledge of custody operations and securities processing . Key Responsibilities
  • Relief at Source Review client eligibility and documentation for reduced withholding tax treatment.
Prepare, validate, and track market-specific tax forms and certifications. Monitor income events, market deadlines, and custodian requirements. Support client onboarding documentation for future tax relief. Handle urgent documentation and eligibility requests. Work with clients, custodians, and internal teams to resolve documentation gaps. Research and resolve tax service coding or eligibility issues. Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Reclaim Review and validate reclaim eligibility after income payments.
Prepare, submit, and monitor tax reclaim packages. Coordinate with clients and business partners to obtain required tax documentation. Track reclaim cases through filing, payment, rejection, resubmission, and closure. Research reclaim rejections and coordinate corrective actions. Escalate time-sensitive or high-value issues. Maintain accurate records and audit trails. Coordinate with custodians, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders. Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in Tax Relief at Source and/or Tax Reclaim. Knowledge or experience with Custody Operations / Securities Operations . Understanding of withholding tax and tax documentation. Knowledge of ADR and ordinary securities preferred. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and time-sensitive processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation. Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills. Preferred Experience Global Custody Securities Operations Withholding Tax Relief at Source Tax Reclaim ADR / Ordinary Securities Double Taxation Treaties Custodian operations Financial Services /
