We are hiring a Tax Advisor to serve entrepreneurs, business owners, real estate investors, and high-income professionals through proactive, ethical tax planning. This is a client-facing advisory role for a CPA, EA, or experienced tax professional who can confidently communicate with clients, move work forward, and maintain a high standard for accuracy and documentation. What You'll Do Manage and support a portfolio of tax-planning clients through onboarding, strategy, implementation, tax preparation, and recurring reviews. Review individual and business tax returns, financial information, and entity structures to identify planning opportunities, risks, and next steps. Prepare for and participate in client strategy meetings, kickoff calls, and quarterly reviews. Explain tax strategies in plain language so clients understand the recommendation, expected impact, required actions, and deadlines. Help implement proactive tax strategies, including entity and compensation planning, retirement planning, accountable plans, real-estate-related strategies, and other client-specific opportunities. Coordinate closely with tax preparers and internal team members to ensure client work moves smoothly from sale through implementation and review. Maintain accurate client notes, workpapers, documentation, communications, and task status. Use systems including Monday.com, HubSpot, Corvee, Instead, Drake, and Google Workspace to deliver a consistent client experience. Follow established SOPs, verify source information, and protect quality and compliance before work is delivered. Identify process gaps and bring forward practical solutions that improve speed, consistency, and client experience. What Success Looks Like You will be trusted to keep client work moving without sacrificing detail. You will communicate early when information is missing, make complex tax rules understandable, and ensure every client knows the next step. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building and client communication while also valuing structure, documentation, compliance, and reliable follow-through. Required Qualifications CPA or Enrolled Agent credential, or active progress toward CPA or EA licensure. 3+ years of experience in tax preparation, tax planning, public accounting, or a related tax advisory role. Experience with individual and business taxation, including 1040, 1065, 1120-S, and 1120 returns. Working knowledge of sole proprietorships, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain tax concepts clearly to non-tax professionals. Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Comfort using tax software, workflow systems, CRM tools, client portals, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Experience advising entrepreneurs, business owners, real estate investors, executives, or high-income clients. Experience in a client-facing tax advisory or tax-planning role. Experience with Drake, Corvee, Instead, Monday.com, HubSpot, or similar platforms. CFP designation, financial-planning knowledge, or experience with advanced tax-planning strategies. A record of improving processes, building templates, or strengthening quality-control systems.
