Consumer Directed Services (CDS) Tax Specialist

Our Company All Ways Caring HomeCare Overview The CDS Tax Support Specialist is responsible for managing tax associated tasks under Medicaid Home and Community Based Services Consumer Directed Services. External Job Description Obtain tax IDs for the Medicaid consumer/employer. Organize and maintain tax documents. Coordinate relevant tax matters with branch staff, payroll vendor, and corporate support center. Communicate with consumers regarding tax matters. Utilize Point of Care to track discharges. Utilize state and federal sites for tax applications and maintain current information. Analyze tax letters for appropriate next steps and follow through to resolution. Ensures tax handling is compliant with state regulations. Completes required job role training. Participate in staff meetings. Completes required job role training. Timely submission of timekeeping and paperwork. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. One or more years of working with CDS tax related services and computer experience preferred. One or more years of general office and computer experience required.
