SENIOR TAX CONSULTANT
Position Overview Our Senior Tax Consultant provides expert tax consulting and preparation services to our diverse client base. This role requires deep technical tax knowledge and the ability to handle complex tax situations for individuals, businesses, and high-net-worth clients. The Senior Tax Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring accurate compliance while identifying tax-saving opportunities that align with client goals. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review complex individual, business, trust, and estate tax returns
  • Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients
  • Research and analyze complex tax issues and provide technical guidance
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop strategic recommendations
  • Represent clients in IRS and state tax matters, audits, and correspondence
  • Mentor and review work of staff accountants and junior tax preparers
  • Maintain current knowledge of tax law changes and their implications
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
  • Collaborate with other service teams on integrated client solutions Required Qualifications
  • Tax specialization and experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
  • Expert knowledge of federal and state tax law for individuals and businesses
  • Experience with high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and S corporations
  • Proficiency in professional tax preparation software
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Taxation or related field
  • Knowledge of multi-state taxation and international tax issues
  • Experience with tax planning for real estate, investments, or business succession
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
