Job Description
Description Farm Credit Services of Mandan is hiring a Seasonal Tax Intern with flexible weekly scheduling. The internship will provide the college student with exposure to multiple facets of the Farm Credit Services business, including tax planning, tax preparation, and tax reporting. This internship will be based out of our Mandan, ND office and is expected to run through the tax season. Indicators of Success 1. Excellent communication and customer service skills 2. Strong ability to work well within a team 3. Attention to detail 4. High level of confidentiality and professionalism Major/Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and bookkeeping of client records Generate financial reports Provide assistance in updating depreciation and disposition schedules
- Scan and file documents
- Work with both internal and external customers Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree seeking curriculum from an accredited college or university
- Successfully completed a minimum of 60 credit hours
- GPA of at least 3.0
- Applicable degrees include tax, accounting, business, or related fields
