Job Description
Position Overview The Tax Analyst will assist with the process to execute tax filings and payments and complete first level review of all returns. Responsibilities include extracting and analyzing data from various systems, and assisting with preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly/annual filings and payments for various taxes by entity and state to comply with relevant legislation Job Description Description Prepare returns for filing, submit payments and other documents Work with internal departments to ensure relevant and accurate data for tax returns is provided on a timely basis Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts Assist with resolution of queries with state and local agencies Assist in the ongoing research and investigation of legislation for each potential state/relevant jurisdiction in assigned tax areas Provide support for tax audits Partner with various stakeholders to drive efficiencies and provide support with tax related projects Partner with various internal groups to improve business processes and resolve tax disputes Assist with Tax automation and process improvement strategyAssist with streamlining data collection through automation and process improvementDevelop and execute procedures and controls, ensure procedures are documented and kept up to date Ensure various tax rules and rates are correctly maintained in company systems Maintain exemption certificate database and requests Assist with research of potential tax credits Assist with license applications and renewals Assist with training new hires
