Spinelli & Otto, P.C. is a growing tax and accounting firm, looking for a detail-oriented Senior Tax Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing individual tax returns prepared by staff associates for accuracy and compliance with tax laws. You will work directly with clients during tax season and be involved with tax planning throughout the year. Your strong communication skills will be key to providing excellent service to our clients.

Requirements:

5 + years preparing individual tax returns (all schedules). Public accounting or tax firm experience a must. Overtime and Saturday hours during tax season a must. Proficiency in using Lacerte tax preparation software a plus. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel a must. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Efficient time management skills with attention to detail and multiple deadlines. Maintain and organize client tax records and documents.
