Our firm has a growing client base, and an opportunity exists for a motivated individual to control their workload while gaining autonomy with the goal of obtaining equity in a reputable firm. If you are interested in moving your career to the next level and controlling your future, then this may be the right opportunity. Perform director's duties for growing CPA firm. Our core focus is on the preparation of small business and individual tax returns, payroll, write-up, and consulting.
Principle Functions:
Prepare and review corporate and individual tax returns in an efficient and timely manner Respond to client notifications appropriately ( and represent client, when necessary, with taxing authority ) Manage firm service lines Maintain accurate client and firm records Stay current on tax law changes Ensure client confidentiality at all times Uphold and build upon firm's reputation
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledgeable with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, ATX, Ultra Tax as well as Excel, Word and Outlook. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work load for yourself and staff Work in a collaborative environment Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and excel in deadline driven environment Able to clearly and concisely answer client questions Continue to expand the client base and provide the highest standard of client service
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant ( preferred) or working towards obtaining Or, Enrolled Agent at least 3-5 years experience
