We're looking for an experienced Enrolled Agent (EA) who enjoys helping clients succeed through tax planning, accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. This is a full-time, in-office position offering diverse, year-round work with opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and take on increasing responsibility as our firm continues to grow. What You'll Do As a Tax & Accounting Professional, you'll play an important role in providing high-quality service to our clients by: Preparing federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, S corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping engagements. Preparing compiled and internally prepared financial statements. Assisting clients with year-round tax planning and compliance. Responding to IRS and state tax notices and correspondence. Representing clients before the IRS when appropriate. Assisting clients with accounting questions and business operations. Working with both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. Maintaining accurate electronic workpapers and client documentation. Collaborating with team members to ensure exceptional client service. Qualifications Required Active Enrolled Agent (EA) credential. Three to five years of public accounting or professional tax preparation experience. Experience preparing individual and business income tax returns. Experience in performing bookkeeping and preparing financial statements. Strong knowledge of federal and Ohio tax law; and IRS procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines. Commitment to providing exceptional client service. Preferred Experience preparing fiduciary (estate and trust) income tax returns. Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. Experience using UltraTax CS or similar professional tax software. Experience with tax planning and client advisory services. Experience with Microsoft Power Point. Payroll tax and payroll processing experience. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary of $60,500 . Discretionary performance bonus. Paid holidays and paid time off.
