This role involves working closely with the tax team, maintaining strong attention to detail, and following established processes to ensure high-quality client service. Tax Specialists are expected to manage deadlines, communicate clearly, and grow their tax knowledge over time. Key Responsibilities Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns using firm software Organize and input tax data accurately based on client-provided documents Identify missing or unclear items and follow up with clients or team leads Maintain clear and well-organized digital workpapers for each return Communicate progress and potential issues to senior staff or managers Stay up to date on tax procedures and participate in training sessions Assist with quarterly estimates and basic tax planning tasks Meet internal deadlines and uphold firm standards of quality and confidentiality Software Knowledge & Expectations Proficient in Lacerte for preparation and review Competent in QuickBooks Desktop and Online for tax-related financial data Comfortable working in SmartVault for secure document sharing Use Podio for task tracking, deadlines, and workflow updates Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required) Actively pursuing CPA license (preferred, not required) 1-3 years of public accounting experience (internship or full-time) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes Solid organizational and time management skills Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment Professional and clear communication skills
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
