Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Part-Time Senior Tax Specialist who is fluent in Spanish to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your tax expertise within a collaborative environment, assisting clients with complex tax situations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing exceptional service. As a key contributor, you will play an integral part in managing tax reporting, preparing detailed tax returns, and supporting various financial and regulatory processes. Your bilingual skills will enhance communication with diverse client portfolios, enabling us to deliver tailored solutions that meet their unique needs. Duties Prepare and review individual, corporate, and individual returns with precision, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations. Conduct detailed tax research related to complex tax situations and strategy. Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to tax filings and financial statements. Collaborate with clients to gather financial data using accounting software like Quickbooks Online and TaxDome or similar tools; perform account reconciliation and analyze financial statements. Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients in both English and Spanish, fostering strong relationships through effective client communication. Skills Extensive knowledge of tax law, including individual, 1040NR, corporate and partnerships Proven experience in tax reporting, return preparation, and regulatory compliance accounting. Strong understanding of financial concepts such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), double entry bookkeeping, and technical accounting standards. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks Online), financial analysis tools, and balance sheet reconciliation techniques. Excellent analysis skills for financial report interpretation, asset management, loan reconciliation, and equity.
