For a Tax Senior, that means good quality work, client exposure and room to progress without being expected to live at your desk. Busy season doesn't properly ramp up until March and generally peaks at around 50 to 55 hours for a few weeks. Hybrid working is available, the Partners are approachable, and once they know you can do the job, there's plenty of trust around how you manage your time. The firm has a meaningful Non Profit client base, so Form 990 experience is important, alongside broader tax work including 1040, 1041 and 1065. You'll prepare and review returns, work directly with clients, support more junior members of the team and get plenty of exposure to the Partners on more complex work. You won't be stuck in a narrow role either. There's room to keep building your review experience, take on more client responsibility and progress towards Manager.
