Senior Tax Associate | Katy | On Site | $85k to $95k 3+ Years Public Accounting Experience | CPA Eligible There are Senior roles where you get the title. Then there are Senior roles where you actually get trusted with Senior level work. This is the second one. You'd be joining a smaller mid-sized CPA firm with around 20 people in the Katy office, working closely with the Partner and getting proper exposure rather than sitting three layers away from the people making decisions. The role starts around 60% review and 40% prep, with the aim of moving you closer to 80% review and 20% prep by next busy season. That matters. Because if you're already at Senior level, you probably don't want another two years of being told review exposure is "coming soon". The client mix is genuinely varied too. Family Offices, HNW individuals, manufacturing, construction and healthcare. So one day you could be reviewing an S Corp return, the next working through a more complex K1. You're not being pushed into one tiny corner of tax and left there. There's also a clear progression path for someone who wants to keep moving. You'll be working closely with leadership, getting broader responsibility and building towards the next step rather than just waiting for another busy season to pass.
