Hybrid, 3 days per week in office About the Opportunity Our client is a Top-25 middle-market professional services firm with more than 50 years of history and over 3,000 professionals across the United States. Originally established on the East Coast, the firm is now expanding its presence in the Chicago market and is looking to add a Tax Senior to its growing Lincolnshire team. This is a unique opportunity to join an established national firm while still being early enough in the Chicago expansion to have a meaningful role in the growth of the local office. The team is looking for someone who wants to continue developing their technical skills, take on greater responsibility, and build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. What You'll Do Prepare and review complex individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns Take a lead role throughout the tax engagement process, from planning through completion Research and assist with complex tax matters and develop thoughtful solutions for clients Identify tax planning opportunities and help clients minimize or defer tax liabilities Work directly with clients and build strong, long-term relationships Manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines throughout the year Review work prepared by more junior team members and provide guidance and feedback Collaborate closely with Managers, Partners, and other members of the Tax team Continue developing your technical expertise through exposure to a variety of clients and tax matters Contribute to the growth and development of the Chicago office as the local team expands About the Tax Practice The firm's Tax practice offers a broad range of services, giving team members the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and continue expanding their expertise.
