Tax Associate (CPA Firm | Hybrid Schedule)

Gravier Group is currently looking for a skilled Tax Associate to join our team in Coral Gables . In this position, you'll be responsible for tax return preparation, reviewing financial data, and ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit federal, state, and local tax returns Examine financial records, including income statements and supporting documents Interpret financial data to assess tax obligations Provide clients with guidance on effective tax planning Maintain compliance with current tax legislation Research tax-related matters and stay informed on legislative updates Support audit processes and help resolve tax-related issues

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in public accounting Solid understanding of financial accounting principles Background in account reconciliation and accounts payable Proficiency with accounting software Knowledge of financial services and sales principles Familiarity with estate planning, including wills and trusts Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking Effective research and problem-solving skills
