Position Overview As a Tax Senior at Avior Tax & Accounting, you'll be an experienced member of the tax team helping clients make confident financial decisions that align with their broader goals. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting research, and participating in the company's internal programs. You'll go beyond tax compliance to engage in tax advisory and strategic planning in partnership with Avior's in-house wealth professionals—providing clients with comprehensive, forward-thinking financial guidance. Page Break Key Responsibilities Prepare and review tax engagements for individuals, businesses, and trusts with accuracy and insight. Serve as a trusted advisor—anticipating needs, identifying opportunities, and delivering proactive planning. Collaborate across tax, accounting, and wealth teams to provide holistic client solutions. Maintain and strengthen client relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service. Identify opportunities to expand services and contribute to firmwide business development. Stay current on tax laws, GAAP, and emerging planning opportunities through continuous learning. Contribute to the culture and success of One Avior through participation in leadership initiatives and knowledge sharing. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field strongly preferred; CPA or EA certification or actively pursuing 3+ years of progressive public accounting experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities. Understand individual and passthrough entity taxation and planning. Strong understanding of GAAP, federal, and multi-state tax regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to translate complex issues into client clarity. Experience managing projects, client relationships, and mentoring team members. Prefer proficiency with CCH Axcess, Engagement, and related tax software. Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration. Why Avior?
