We are seeking a skilled Tax Senior to join our team in a hybrid capacity, working both remotely and in our Houston office.

Position SummaryAs a Tax Senior, you will handle both the preparation and review of various tax returns. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and compliance while helping to mentor junior staff. This role offers excellent visibility within the firm and a clear path for professional advancement.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.

Identify and research tax issues, providing effective solutions and planning recommendations.

Mentor, train, and review the work of tax associates to ensure quality and accuracy.

Maintain strong communication with clients to gather financial data and resolve inquiries.

Assist team leadership with managing engagement deadlines and workflow distribution.

QualificationsActive CPA license or current CPA candidate actively pursuing the designation.

Proven experience handling both the preparation and review of tax returns within public accounting.

Strong command of federal, state, and local tax regulations for individuals and business entities.

Proficiency with modern tax software and accounting research platforms.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
