This position is ideal for someone who enjoys more than simply preparing tax returns—you will work directly with clients, analyze their financial information, identify opportunities, and help develop practical tax and financial strategies. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable accounting professional who can handle complex tax matters, communicate effectively with clients, and serve as a trusted advisor to both individuals and business owners. What You'll Do Prepare partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and individual tax returns. Work directly with clients to understand their financial and tax situations. Identify tax-planning opportunities and develop strategies to help clients minimize taxes and make informed financial decisions. Analyze financial information and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients. Collaborate with team members to resolve complex accounting and tax issues. Stay current with changes in federal and state tax laws, accounting standards, and relevant regulations. Perform other duties as needed to meet client and firm needs. Required Qualifications Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is required. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws. Experience preparing complex individual and business tax returns. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team. Ability to communicate complex tax and financial concepts in a way that clients can understand. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Public accounting or tax-firm experience. Experience with partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations. Experience working directly with business owners and high-net-worth individuals. Experience with tax planning and advisory services. Experience with Lacerte, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, or similar accounting and tax software. Previous experience reviewing the work of other tax professionals or accounting staff.
