Position Responsibilities:
Advise on US federal income tax matters for internal restructuring, reorganizations, new entity formations, entity closures, and asset transfers domestically and cross-border by developing comprehensive tax planning for various Amazon's business lines. Collaborate with global tax, finance, accounting, business and corporate legal and other teams to formulate integrated cross-functional plans. Research tax rules and write tax technical documents. Create and develop complex excel spreadsheet models. Clearly communicate complex tax technical matters to tax and non-tax partners and stakeholders. Coordinate with external advisors to ensure proper documentation and support for the various initiatives. 40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm,
Salary Range:
$88,816/year to $112,300/year. Amazon is a total compensation company. Basic Qualifications Position Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Tax, Law, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) advise on US federal and international direct tax matters; (2) collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate integrated cross-functional plans; (3) clearly communicate complex plans and issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; (4) research and draft opinions and memos on tax technical matters, and (5) work with large, complex data sets to provide actionable insights.#0000 Preferred Qualifications Please see job description and the position requirements above.
