- RF/Acoustic Rosslyn, VA Job Type Full-time Description The Field Service Technician II
- RF/Acoustic supports overseas posts by testing, maintaining, and reporting on equipment in the field.
- RF/Acoustic is responsible for working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition, to support technical and operational requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least two years of experience in maintaining and repairing radio frequency or acoustic shielded environments.
- Professional licensing in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC, or at least two years of relevant experience.
- Substantive knowledge of regulations governing the use and access of classified materials.
- Demonstrated experience working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition.
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals or groups outside their organization or agency.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn technical and physical security countermeasure systems and understand Overseas Security Policy Board (OSPB) standards.
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, manual labor, using ladders, and working on construction sites.
Travel:
30- 50% Travel both domestically and internationally is required based on mission and business demands.
