Full Job Description Benefits:
401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Dental insurance Vision insurance We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Advisor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented tax professional with extensive experience preparing and reviewing complex individual and business tax returns. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional client service. Responsibilities Prepare and review complex individual (Form 1040) tax returns. Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and S-corporation tax returns. Review client financial records and bookkeeping for accuracy and completeness. Perform peer reviews of tax returns and financial workpapers to ensure quality and compliance. Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic guidance to clients. Communicate professionally with clients regarding tax matters and financial records. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tax engagements. Work with the financial planning team on strategic tax planning for retirees Provide trainings to coworkers Talk to potential clients and current clients about all the services we have to offer. Qualifications Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience preparing and reviewing complex individual and business tax returns. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
Required:
Proficiency in QuickBooks.
Preferred:
Experience using TaxSlayer Pro. Tax Dome experience or quick to pick up CRM systems. Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to review bookkeeping and identify discrepancies or needed adjustments. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
