Job Description

Esterbrooks Certified Public Accountants, Ltd. is a local CPA firm with offices in Duluth and Superior, employing a team of 20 professional staff. We specialize in a range of services, including tax, audit, payroll, and bookkeeping, all with a commitment to providing high-quality service to our clients. We are looking to hire an Tax Associate for our Duluth office with a tremendous opportunity for professional growth supported by mentoring, continuing education, and access to decades of partner CPA experience.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Conduct tax research and assist in developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation Communicate with clients to gather financial data and provide updates on tax matters Develop a working knowledge of various software programs Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret and evaluate information, ensuring client explanations are appropriately documented
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with CPA or CPA eligibility preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to meet deadlines and effectively solve problems. Strong multitasking abilities. Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay:
$65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
