Job Description
The Town of Hollis is seeking a Deputy Tax Collector / Deputy Treasurer . This is a full-time, 29 hours a week, clerical/customer service position involving significant public interaction by phone and in person, collection of fees and accurate record-keeping in accordance with town, state and federal laws. Essential duties include manning the counter for walk-in traffic, receiving tax payments, completing motor vehicle transactions (registration, excise tax, etc.) and providing requested public information both in-person and by phone. The position requires strong organizational skills, cash handling, attention to detail and ability to work directly with the public in a friendly and helpful manner.
