Job Description

Job Overview The Assistant Clerk applicant should be detail-oriented, have the ability to interact with the public and other State agencies, be proficient in Microsoft office and most basic office technology. Experience in municipal government and Trio software a plus, but we will train the right person. Responsibilities Serves as Deputy Town Clerk, Deputy Treasurer and Tax Collector, assists residents with a wide range of services including property tax collection, registering vehicles, issuing vital records, licenses and permits and may also include other town office duties as needed. This position is Tuesday - Thursday with one evening per week. Salary will be commensurate with experience and includes a health insurance stipend.
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
