Morris Central School has the following openings: Tax Collector Morris Central School is seeking a Tax Collector for the 2026 tax season (September 1-November 1, 2026). Candidates should have experience in accounting or finance. A Tax Collector is responsible for the accurate billing, collection, and processing of taxes in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role involves maintaining detailed financial records, issuing tax bills, collecting payments, and ensuring timely deposits of funds. The Tax Collector communicates with taxpayers to answer questions, resolve discrepancies, and provide guidance on payment options, deadlines, and penalties.
