Provide revenue services to the general public and City departments. Data scanning and imaging. Inventory control. Reviews account data for accuracy. Receives, verifies, and deposits all monies from various City departments. Posts accounting data to journals and ledgers. Balances daily electronic deposits and funds. Performs various clerical duties i.e. computer input/Word processing, process mail, and maintain files. All other duties as required.

• Two-year degree in accounting or equivalent experience.

Two years experience in accounting with emphasis in tax, payroll, and finance accounting. One-year experience in general clerical and cash handling procedures including daily balancing of cash drawer. Efficient in Microsoft Office software and 10-key pad operation of CRT. Ability to communicate in writing and in person with general public, City employees and banking officials.
