The purpose of the class is to perform difficult technical work for the Commissioner of the Revenue Office in one or more of the following areas: personal property taxes/Department of Motor Vehicles DMV Select, business licenses and excise taxes, business personal property taxes or State income tax/real estate tax relief. The class works under general supervision according to set procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field. Minimum of two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience in accounting or fiscal record-keeping. Municipal government experience and knowledge of municipal tax work is preferred. Must successfully pass a background check prior to an offer of employment or promotion. Additional Requirements Requires effective communication with internal and external customers.
