E.G. Sanchez & Associates, CPAs acquired Cordova & Jones, PC in January 2024, bringing together two strong practices to create a multi-location firm with offices in Murrieta, CA (HQ), Escondido, CA, and Chandler, AZ. We're building on Cordova & Jones established Chandler presence while leveraging our combined resources and expertise to better serve our clients and grow our team. As a growing firm, we're positioned for significant expansion and looking for leaders to grow with us. We're seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead our Chandler tax practice. You'll manage an established client base, lead a team of tax professionals, and play a key role in the continued growth of our practice.
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals Manage and grow relationships with key clients across multiple industries Oversee preparation and review of complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns Manage workflow, budgets, and deadlines for multiple concurrent engagements Research complex tax issues and provide technical guidance to team Participate in firm leadership, practice development, and business development activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required) Active CPA license required (in good standing) 6+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience Expert knowledge of federal and multi-state tax regulations Proven leadership and team development skills Excellent client relationship management and communication abilities Business development mindset with comfort in client-facing role
