Job Description
Job Summary A well-established public accounting firm in Temecula, CA is seeking an experienced Tax Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a public accounting tax professional who enjoys managing complex tax engagements, advising clients, reviewing a variety of tax returns, and mentoring developing staff. The Tax Manager will join a collaborative, supportive team environment with strong leadership, professional growth opportunities, and exposure to a diverse client base that includes individuals, businesses, trusts, estates, and nonprofit organizations. - Manage and review a broad range of tax returns, including individual, partnership, S Corporation, C Corporation, fiduciary and trust, gift tax, and nonprofit returns.
- Oversee multiple tax engagements from planning through completion while ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and compliance requirements are met.
- Conduct tax research and provide tax planning strategies for clients across federal, state, and local tax matters.
- Review staff work for accuracy, provide technical guidance, and support the development of junior team members.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication, consultative support, and exceptional service.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client advisory services, tax planning opportunities, and process improvements. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 to $140,000 per year.
