Back Tax Manager Walnut Creek Direct Hire REMOTE Tax Managers (Public Accounting) CV Resources is partnering with a well-established public accounting firm on its search for multiple experienced Tax Managers. The Opportunity The firm is hiring Tax Managers across three specialties: High Net Worth Partnerships Estate & Trust You'll take primary responsibility for client engagements, mentor staff, and be mentored by firm partners. You'll have real impact on both clients and the team. Responsibilities Review tax returns and take primary responsibility for client engagements, including scheduling, staffing, timing, and technical issues Drive engagements to completion, identifying and resolving problem areas with minimal oversight Manage, supervise, and mentor staff through technical challenges and professional development Complete semi-annual performance evaluations and manage ongoing performance Maintain and grow client relationships through responsiveness and superb service, and work with Partners to pursue new clients Build knowledge in the firm's focus industries through training and continued learning Other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation Active CPA license 5+ years of tax experience, including recent experience at the manager level Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills Benefits Paid time off and 9 paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with profit sharing Professional dues and licenses covered FSA and HSA options Apply Now Share This Post
