Senior Tax Strategist (CPA)

Full-Time Position Overview Client is seeking a highly strategic and technically strong Senior Tax Strategist (CPA) to serve as a senior technical resource within the tax function. This role goes beyond traditional tax compliance and focuses on tax strategy, complex tax advisory, international taxation, and client consulting . The ideal candidate will have strong public accounting or tax advisory experience, an active CPA license, and demonstrated expertise handling complex tax matters for individuals and businesses, including foreign-owned U.S. entities . This individual will work closely with clients and internal teams to develop tax-efficient strategies, ensure compliance, provide technical guidance, and improve tax processes and workflows. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Tax Advisory Serve as a senior technical resource and subject-matter expert on complex federal, state, and international tax matters. Develop and recommend tax-efficient strategies and business structures, particularly for foreign-owned U.S. entities. Perform tax projections, forecasting, and scenario modeling to support client decision-making. Identify tax planning opportunities while balancing compliance, business objectives, and risk. Provide technical guidance to internal teams on complex tax issues. Complex Tax Preparation & Review Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for: Individuals C-Corporations S-Corporations Partnerships Trusts and Estates Review tax returns for accuracy, completeness, technical compliance, and appropriate tax treatment. Identify potential tax issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings and related deliverables. International & Foreign-Owned Entity Taxation Advise non-U.S. residents and foreign-owned companies regarding U.S. tax requirements and implications. Prepare and/or review international tax filings, including Forms 5472, 1120, 1120-F, 5471 , and other applicable forms. Support tax structuring and planning for cross-border business operations.
Analyze Pay:
$110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
