$150,000 - $205,000/ yr (DOE) Position Overview Our client is looking to add a Sr. Tax Manager to their expanding team in Alpharetta, GA. This role is for an experienced tax professional with a strong, broad tax background. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a client-focused mindset , helping deliver exceptional service while contributing to the firm's continued growth. Key Responsibilities Manage the preparation and review of tax filings for individuals, partnerships, S-Corp, C-Corp, and tax-exempt organizations Provide advisory support related to tax planning, compliance strategy, and risk mitigation Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and proactive guidance Work closely with partners and internal teams to ensure engagement quality and accuracy Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and contribute to business development Review staff work and provide coaching to support professional growth Required Qualifications Active CPA license Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax (Master's degree preferred) 7+ years of public accounting experience- ideal to have experience with trusts, estates, or nonprofit taxation Strong familiarity with fiduciary accounting and tax regulations related to charitable organizations Ability to manage multiple engagements in a deadline-driven environment Interest or experience in developing new client relationships Benefits & Perks Comprehensive medical and insurance coverage Retirement plan with financial advisory services Performance bonus opportunities Busy season workload capped at ~55 hours per week Summer Fridays Team-oriented culture with employee events and perks Career growth opportunities within the firm Potential for a hybrid work arrangement
