Job Description
Our firm is seeking a tax manager with 7+ years experience in public accounting. The Tax Manager has a strong ability to maintain solid client relationships, to effectively supervise staff, to demonstrate a strong commitment to the Firm, and to perform work on all levels of a tax engagement with little supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review corporate, partnership and trust tax returns (1120, 1120s, 1065, 1041) Recognize complex technical issues, evaluate facts efficiently and use strategic decision-making skills to improve processes by developing and implementing best practices. Manage planning and engagement activity and follow through to achieve results. Timely deliver a diversified range of accounting and tax services in compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance, technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards and provides timely feedback. Builds relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise. Develop, motivate and train team members. Develop professional relationships in the community. Invest in professional development through active participation in training sessions and networking events both internally and externally.Qualifications:
Minimum of 7+ years of CPA firm experience Strong leadership and personnel management skills Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and budgets Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt style and messaging to effectively communicate at all levels both within the client organization and the firm Commitment to continuous learning and developmentJob Type:
