  • Fund Tax Key Responsibilities Oversee and review federal, state, and other tax filings for investment funds and related entities.
Review tax provisions and disclosures included in financial statements. Manage tax analyses affecting fund distributions, including complex book-to-tax adjustments and investment-related tax considerations. Support distribution planning and reporting to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and tax requirements. Oversee fund-level tax compliance testing and reporting requirements. Evaluate tax implications related to fund restructurings, mergers, and other corporate actions. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and enhancements to internal controls. Mentor and develop junior team members while providing technical tax guidance. Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, finance, operations, legal, and portfolio management stakeholders.   • Fund Tax Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA designation preferred. 7+ years of tax experience within public accounting, financial services, asset management, or investment fund environments. Strong knowledge of investment-related taxation, partnership taxation, or regulated investment company (RIC) taxation. Experience researching complex tax issues and interpreting regulatory guidance. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with tax research tools. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
