full-time Position Overview Addison Group has partnered with a Fortune 1000 company on the search for a Senior International Tax Manager. The Senior International Tax Manager will play a critical leadership role within the corporate tax function, overseeing all aspects of the company's international tax compliance and reporting. This individual will own the end-to-end international tax provision process under ASC 740 and ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions. The role requires a strong technical foundation, process ownership mindset, and the ability to partner cross-functionally in a dynamic, global environment. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact international tax function within a complex global organization. The position provides strong visibility to senior leadership and the ability to influence tax strategy, compliance, and financial reporting in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the global international tax compliance process, including oversight of foreign filings, U.S. international forms (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118), and coordination with external advisors. Own the international components of the quarterly and annual tax provision under ASC 740, including ETR analysis, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, and foreign tax credit calculations. Review and analyze financial data from foreign subsidiaries to ensure accurate tax reporting and alignment with
U.S. GAAP.
Manage the calculation and documentation of uncertain tax positions (UTPs) related to international matters. Partner with accounting, FP&A, and treasury teams to ensure accurate integration of tax impacts into financial reporting and forecasting. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the international tax function to enhance efficiency and controls. Monitor changes in global tax legislation (e.g., OECD Pillar Two, BEPS developments) and assess impact on the company. Support transfer pricing initiatives, including documentation and coordination with external consultants. Assist with tax audits and inquiries related to international operations. Mentor and develop junior tax team members and contribute to building a high-performing tax organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MST preferred. 8+ years of relevant experience in international tax, including public accounting and/or multinational corporate environment. Strong expertise in U.S. international tax compliance and reporting, including hands-on experience with Forms 5471, 8858, and related filings. Deep knowledge of ASC 740, specifically related to international tax provisions. Experience with global tax provision software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax) preferred. Familiarity with transfer pricing concepts and global tax frameworks such as BEPS and Pillar Two. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Preferred Attributes Experience in a Fortune 1000 or large multinational environment. Proven ability to lead processes and drive continuous improvement.
