Job Description
Tax Manager -CPA A well-established public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its tax practice. The CPA Tax Manager will oversee multiple client engagements and work closely with firm leadership while supporting a diverse client base that includes h igh-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses.

medical/dental/vision/ 401K Paid Time off and more Responsibilities Manage complex tax engagements from planning through completion Review individual, pass-through, and other complex tax returns Manage engagement workflow, budgets, deadlines, and deliverables Review workpapers and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness Research technical tax matters and assist with tax-planning strategies Provide technical guidance, coaching, and development to staff Build and maintain strong client relationships Communicate tax matters, engagement progress, and recommendations directly with clients Identify client needs and opportunities for additional services Collaborate with partners and team members to resolve complex tax and engagement matters Support staff development and broader practice initiatives Qualifications Active CPA required Strong public accounting tax experience Experience reviewing and managing complex tax engagements Experience with high-net-worth individual taxation and pass-through entities Trust & Estate tax exposure Experience mentoring, coaching, or supervising tax professionals Strong technical tax research and problem-solving skills Experience with CCH and QuickBooks Online preferred Experience supporting clients in industries such as manufacturing, construction, and nonprofit organizations is a plus What the Opportunity Offers 5 weeks of PTO Established public accounting environment with opportunities for continued professional development Opportunity to assume greater staff leadership responsibilities after becoming established in the role. During peak tax season, professionals should anticipate a schedule of approximately 60 hours per week .
