Job Description

Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director - Greater Boston, MA Lead. Advise. Grow. Make an impact in a collaborative CPA firm. An established and growing CPA firm in the Greater Boston area is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director to join its leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the Managing Partner, manage a diverse tax client portfolio, and mentor a strong team of tax professionals. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple tax engagements from planning through completion Review and file complex federal and state tax returns Provide tax planning and advisory services to corporations, flow-through entities, and high-net-worth individuals Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships Manage engagement deadlines, workflow, and quality Supervise, train, mentor, and develop tax professionals Identify opportunities to expand services and support firm growth Develop and deliver internal tax training Serve as a trusted business advisor and recommend process improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Active CPA license required 6-10+ years of public accounting experience Proven management and supervisory experience Strong tax research, compliance, and planning expertise Experience with corporate, individual, and flow-through taxation Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-service skills CCH Axcess Tax or ProSystem fx Tax experience preferred Must live within reasonable commuting distance of the Greater Boston office Why Join? Pay:
$150,572.69 - $200,248.83 per year
