Responsibilities include but not limited to: Review complex tax returns Read & summarize planning documents, as well as provide guidance on both federal & state income and death tax treatment Help generate opportunities within existing clients, as well as meeting with and pursuing new clients Prepare & present technical training to specialty group and core tax department Have responsibility for managing all aspects of client relationships Manage a team of professionals within the group to complete engagements from start to finish.YOUR EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will have: 12+ years of experience in public accounting industry. Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Tax is a plus CPA or JD is required Minimum of 8 years of progressive tax experience Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a public accounting firm Strong tax research skills Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills In addition, please take a moment to review our Universal Job Standards. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate's geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
