Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationships & Office Leadership Serve as the primary client contact for the Bloomingdale office Manage client expectations, timelines, and issue resolution Maintain a high standard of professionalism and client service Act as the day-to-day leader for the Bloomingdale location Tax Workflow & Quality Control Oversee the full tax return lifecycle: intake → complete file → prep → review → delivery Review individual (1040) and selected business tax returns (1120S/1065) Prepare a limited number of returns as needed (not expected to prepare all returns) Coordinate extensions, tax notices, and follow-up items Enforce strict "complete file" requirements—returns do not enter prep until files are complete Outsourced Prep Coordination Coordinate work with outsourced tax preparation partners Ensure clean, complete handoffs to preparers Review outsourced returns for accuracy, consistency, and compliance Triage technical questions and escalate issues as needed Process & Systems Implement and follow standardized workflows, checklists, and deadlines Use practice management tools to track return status and follow-ups Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements Collaborate with firm leadership on tax season planning and capacity management
