I have partnered with a well-established firm in the exciting world of public accounting. My client firm is growing and offers the opportunity for an ambitious professional to become a partner/owner in the future. This is an amazing opportunity for someone passionate about tax management and looking to take their career to new heights! You will play a key role in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the tax department, including tax planning, compliance, and reporting
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on complex tax matters
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance at all times
  • Lead a team of tax professionals and provide mentorship and training
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growth
Position Essential Job Functions:
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Develop and implement innovative tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for clients
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to resolve complex tax issues and provide appropriate solutions
  • Review and approve tax returns, financial statements, and other tax-related documents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax projects
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in tax management
Position Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • 7+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax management
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
